Language & Communication

I’m proud to speak four languages—English, Pashto, Farsi, and Urdu—and incorporate basic sign language  to support early communication and inclusion. I also work closely with families to ensure we meet each child’s unique needs, routines, and developmental goals.

Meet Abida Arif

My name is Abida Arif, and I’m honored to be the owner and lead provider at Abida’s Home Child Care. With over 17 years of licensed child care experience and the joy of raising seven children of my own, I bring both professional knowledge and heartfelt dedication to the families I serve.

Before opening my doors in 2008, I spent several years working at Whizz Kids Academy, where I gained valuable experience in early childhood education and developed a passion for creating nurturing, home-based care. That passion continues to guide everything I do.

At the heart of my care philosophy is the belief that children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and inspired. Here, your child will find a second home—a place to explore the world around them, build friendships, and develop lifelong learning skills.
